After you take some time in reflection on your finances for 2019 through accomplishments and gratitude to God the next step is to find your financial vision for 2020. It's important to keep gratitude and accomplishments at the forefront of your reflection time of 2019 so your mindset is ready for your 2020 vision.

To obtain a vision, especially financially, it doesn't involve planning. What I did was pray, asking God for direction, and think about where I would like my finances to be for the next year. Also, I spent the bulk of the time pondering about the why I want my finances to be in a certain area.

During my time of reflection I wrote out my accomplishments in different categories. When I took the time to develop a vision with God I used what I wrote down to help me focus on the areas where my vision could be executed. Once I saw the vision for my finances for 2020 the planning phased followed.
